How does the Anxiety Forecast work?
When you add an upcoming event (like a job interview or presentation), Anticipa's forecasting engine identifies the 24–48 hour window before that event as a high-risk anxiety period. It generates specific coping strategies for each phase: anticipation, pre-event stress, and event day. The more events you add, the more personalized your forecast becomes.
Is my mental health data private?
Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We never sell your personal or health data. AI conversations are processed through our secure Cloudflare Workers API — your messages are sent to the AI model for processing but are not stored by us beyond your session. What is included in the Pro plan?
Pro includes: CBT Thought Log, Exposure Ladder therapy tool, Body Scan meditation, advanced AI coping plans with longer responses, priority AI access, and all future Pro features. Plans are available at $3.99/month or $31.99/year via the App Store (iOS) or directly on the web.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
iOS (App Store): Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Anticipa Pro. You can cancel, change, or pause your subscription there. Apple manages all billing for App Store purchases.

Web (PayPal): Email [email protected] and we'll cancel your subscription promptly. You retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
Can I use Anticipa offline?
Anticipa is a Progressive Web App (PWA) you can install to your home screen. Breathing exercises, grounding tools, and previously loaded content work offline. AI coaching, the forecasting engine, and cloud sync require an internet connection.
How do I delete my account and data?
Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account". We will permanently delete all your data — including your profile, journal entries, and event history — within 30 days and confirm via email. If you subscribed via Apple, cancel your subscription separately in your iOS Settings before requesting deletion.
Is Anticipa a replacement for therapy?
No. Anticipa is a self-management and wellness tool designed to complement — not replace — professional mental health care. If you're experiencing severe or persistent anxiety, depression, or mental health crises, please seek support from a licensed therapist or mental health professional. Anticipa is not a medical service and cannot provide clinical diagnosis or treatment.
What age do I need to be to use Anticipa?
You must be at least 13 years old to use Anticipa. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent. Anticipa does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at [email protected].
How do I request my data (GDPR / CCPA)?
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Email [email protected] with the subject "Data request" and specify what you'd like — a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. We respond to all data requests within 30 days. EU residents may also file a complaint with their local data protection authority.
Why isn't the AI responding or loading?
AI features require an active internet connection. If the AI isn't responding, try: (1) checking your internet connection, (2) refreshing the app, (3) checking if you've reached your hourly AI usage limit (free users: 60 requests/hour; Pro users: 200 requests/hour). If the issue persists, email [email protected].
